Dear reader,

As the new year approaches, I ask myself how do i want to live my life in the coming year? After some time of reflection and pondering, i've came to a conclusion that I wanted to live in a more graceful rhythm. That perhaps, less is more. This is why our CNY 2026 is themed, the art of simplicity. I think batik is a beautiful yet humble textile that makes things simple. Simple in the sense that it has so much character in itself that it speaks volumes without words. It brightens up ones day, vibrant in any room and is just full of essence of its own. It's like a flower that add's beauty to any space.

This is why this New Year we designed very modern, clean cut designs with an oriental touch. Something in which you can wear throughout the years. My sister also helped me to create a textile print inspired by the ang kuh kueh with the chinese character Fu (福) in it, meaning blessings. To remember that you are blessed, and to cover yourself in that declaration heading into the new year and as a constant reminder of how bless we already are. Hope you like this limited edition print and the designs we've created for this joyous occassion of family gatherings and feasting.
